The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza, valued the announcement of His Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Investment Fund, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on Monday, 3 October, the launch of the business of "Downtown Saudi Arabia ", in 12 cities of the Kingdom, saying: (It means more opportunities and empowerment for the private sector, whose influential and partner role is increasing day after day in all aspects of the development and renaissance process taking place in the country), and pointed out that the launch of this company's business and the start of implementing Its projects come at a time when the Kingdom is witnessing an expanded economic movement, whether through the implementation of many major economic projects in various regions or the establishment of development bodies in the cities of the Kingdom.

The announced ones, intended to enhance the attractiveness and competitiveness of these cities, accelerate the achievement of their tourism, entertainment, and marketing goals, push more cultural centers and diverse destinations within them, and support the process of transferring expertise and knowledge, as well as developing their infrastructure and providing many job opportunities for their children.

Al-Raziza said that this company is an added value to the urban economy, and it is a promising sector in the Kingdom that is playing an expanded role in supporting the vision’s goals and starting points by making optimal use of the available resources in order to diversify the inputs of the national economy and increase the growth of non-oil domestic product, noting that what was achieved during the period The past in terms of launching projects of all kinds had the most significant impact in the occurrence of fundamental changes that were positively reflected not only on the private sector institutions and its gains, but also on the national economy as a whole, expressing his optimism that the new company would achieve its goals by creating cities with civilized destinations in the Kingdom that would enhance its investment movement It supports improving the quality of life in it, pointing out that the Kingdom is taking a severe steps within the paths drawn by Vision 2030; The aim is to reformulate the national economy according to diversification options, sustainability and optimal utilization of the resources owned by the Kingdom.​
